<p>Pendant mon week-end à la découverte du Périgord, j&rsquo;ai eu l&rsquo;occasion de visiter plusieurs chateaux dont le <strong>château de Montbazillac</strong> ou encore celui de <strong>Biron</strong> mais si il y en a bien un qui a retenu mon attention c&rsquo;est le <strong>château de Puymartin</strong> construit au XIII siècle à une trentaine de kilomètres <a href="http://www.lemomentm.com/2013/07/mon-week-end-a-la-decouverte-du-perigord-partie-1/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">des grottes de Lascaux</a> situé entre les Eysies et Sarlat.</p>
<p>Peut-être parce que il était le premier de la liste mais surtout parce que notre guide est le même que celui qui l&rsquo;habite et quand un châtelain vous parle de ses ancêtres cela a tout de suite plus de saveurs.</p>
<h2>Le château de PuyMartin est surtout réputé par la célèbre légende de la Dame Blanche.</h2>

<p>Il semblerait que Thérèse de Saint Clarfut fut emprisonnée 15 ans dans la tour nord du château par son mari jaloux qui avait découvert ses infidélités à son retour de la gueurre. Elle y mourut et y fut emmurée.</p>

<p>Aujourd&rsquo;hui tout comme les grottes de Lascaux l&rsquo;originale est fermée au public et une reproduction cette fois beaucoup moins impressionnante est proposée dans une autre pièce à tous les visiteurs.</p>
<h2>J&rsquo;ai eu quand même la chance de la découvrir.</h2>
<p>Ces reproductions installées sur toutes les faces de la pièce qui étaient destinées à la méditation sont assez surprenantes.<br />
Dess » Grisailles » (peintures en noir et blanc sur blanc d&rsquo;œuf) dont les scènes sont tirées de la mythologie grecque.<br />
Toutes ces œuvres, dans un exceptionnel état de conservation, ont été réalisées entre 1650 et 1671.</p>

<p>Si vous souhaitez passer une nuit dans la chambre qui donne sur la tour où fut emprisonnée la dame blanche et espérer la croiser au détour de votre séjour, le château propose aussi des chambres d&rsquo;hôtes.</p>
