<p>Après vous avoir partagé les <a href="https://www.lemomentm.com/tag/toscane/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">moments forts de notre roadtrip en Toscane</a>, il est temps de faire un billet récapitulatif des étapes de ces 6 jours en Italie.<br />
Il n&rsquo;a pas été facile de les choisir avec ce timing un peu juste et surtout les nombreux kms à faire mais aucun regret tout a été parfait pendant cette petite parenthèse d&rsquo;une semaine.</p>
<p>Mais tout d&rsquo;abord parlons de l&rsquo;élément clé du road trip :</p>
<h3>Le choix de la voiture de location</h3>
<p style="text-align: left;">Surtout ne tirez pas le prix sur cette étape du voyage. Par exemple, nous n&rsquo;avions pas comparé les prix avec chauffeur supplémentaire qui peut faire vite monter le prix de la location. Ce qui fait que c&rsquo;est monsieur qui a conduit toute la durée du séjour.<br />
Même si les routes sont sinueuses et que je n&rsquo;aurais pas été super à l&rsquo;aise, il aurait été plus pratique que je puisse prendre le relai de temps en temps.</p>
<p>Utilisez un <a href="https://clk.tradedoubler.com/click?p=301949&;a=3119417" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">comparateur de prix de voitures de locations</a>, nous avons opté <a href="https://clk.tradedoubler.com/click?p=283621&;a=2003317" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">pour Avis</a> qui ne fait pas payer en supplément l&rsquo;assurance contrairement à Sixt par exemple.</p>
<p>Concernant le modèle : On a hésité mais on voulait faire le cliché des vacances à l&rsquo;italienne. Et la petite fiat 500 était super pratique à garer et conduire sur les routes de Toscane. Les routes sinueuses étaient globalement assez étroites, la petite citadine était parfaite pour se faufiler partout.</p>

<h2>Florence &#8211; Jour 1</h2>
<p>Pour débuter notre road trip, nous avons donc décidé d&rsquo;arriver <a href="http://clk.tradedoubler.com/click?p=224458&;a=3119418&;g=24507776" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">en avion à Florence</a> où nous avons passé une première nuit à <a href="https://www.booking.com/hotel/it/orcagna-firenze.fr.html?aid=1353674" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">l&rsquo;hôtel Orcagna</a> (76€ la nuit avec petit déjeuner).</p>
<p>Histoire de profiter un peu de la ville italienne, manger notre première Gelato et d&rsquo;être bien reposés avant de prendre le volant.</p>

<h2>Pise &#8211; Jour 2</h2>
<p>Nous sommes donc partis le lendemain en fin de matinée direction Pise (à peine en dessous des Cinque Terre). Il a fallu faire un choix. Un de nos objectifs étaient de surtout voir les <a href="https://www.lemomentm.com/2017/04/voyage-en-toscane-italie-le-passage-obligatoire-par-les-chutes-de-saturnia/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">chutes chaudes de Saturnia</a> et les paysages verts ornementés de cyprès typiques de la Toscane.<br />
En lisant de <a href="https://www.amazon.fr/s/ref=as_li_ss_tl?k=guide+toscane&;__mk_fr_FR=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&;ref=nb_sb_noss_2&;linkCode=ll2&;tag=lesbricomcomp-21&;linkId=06a6fa0510412f445519a7a837a88fcd&;language=fr_FR" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">nombreux guides</a>, on en a déduit que les Cinque Terre méritaient à elles seules un voyage à part entière de plusieurs jours.</p>

<p>Nous voulions faire une escale en bord de mer pendant ce road trip. Livourne est la ville qui se prêtait le mieux avec l&rsquo;envie de voir la célèbre place carrelée en damiers noir et blanc ainsi que la maison d&rsquo;enfance de <a href="https://www.lemomentm.com/2018/03/lexposition-modigliani-a-la-tate-modern-de-londres-jusquau-2-avril-2018/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Modigliani </a>:</p>

<p>L&rsquo;objectif de ce road trip était principalement de voir les sources chaudes de Saturnia à 3h de Livourne. <p>Nous y sommes allés juste après avoir déposé nos valises dans notre havre de paix à quelques kilomètres de là. Une chambre d&rsquo;hôtes de <a href="https://www.booking.com/hotel/it/bio-agriturismo-la-bellantiglia.fr.html?aid=1353674" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">La Bell’antiglia</a> avec un petit déjeuner composé des produits bio de la ferme pour 128€ tout compris.</p>
<p>Il y avait très peu de airbnb intéressants aux alentours et surtout nous nous sommes fait plaisir sur le confort de cette nuit là en particulier. Cela nous a permis de profiter des hamacs au soleil jusqu&rsquo;à la fin de matinée. Dommage que fin mars lorsque nous sommes venus ce ne soit pas encore la saison de la piscine.</p>

<p>À 30 minutes des chutes, premier arrêt dans le petit village de Pitigliano qui se trouve en surplomb des gorges de la Lente accroché à une falaise de tuf. C&rsquo;était pas prévu mais en passant devant c&rsquo;était incroyablement beau et si il y a bien un avantage au roadtrip c&rsquo;est de pouvoir s&rsquo;arrêter où l&rsquo;on veut (ou presque).</p>

<p>1H30 plus tard, nous avons fait une pause sur la route à un peu moins de 2h de Sienne à Pienza. Mignon petit village où l&#8217;emblème du Sanglier est incontestable. L&rsquo;occasion de faire la pause déjeuner autour d&rsquo;une bonne pizza..<br />
Et l&rsquo;occasion de se refaire une <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/BSq_KjTgtmb/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">gelato artisanal chez Fredo &#8211; Il gelato artigianale.</a></p>

<p>A peine remis de notre bain dans le souffre des chutes, nous allions découvrir le gros coup de coeur du road trip : Sienne.<br />
La ville est tout simplement superbe. On avait envie de se perdre dans ses ruelles en pentes.<br />
Nous sommes restés deux nuits mais trois auraient été bien aussi. La ville est superbe avec plein de petites adresses.</p>

<p>J&rsquo;avais trouvé le <a href="https://www.lemomentm.com/2017/04/sejour-de-2-jours-a-sienne-en-italie-il-faut-absolument-visiter-cette-belle-ville-en-toscane/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">logement idéal à Sienne sur airbnb</a> avec parking gratuit et terrasse spacieuse.</p>
<p>Nous sommes partis assez tôt le 6ème jour pour profiter encore un peu de la toscane et avoir le temps de revenir sans stress sur Florence.</p>
<h2 class="fl ellip oBrLN" data-original-name="San Gimignano">San Gimignano Jour 6</h2>
<p>Sur le chemin du retour, nous avons fait un stop dans la ville historique San Gimignano, à peine moins d&rsquo;une heure de Sienne. Avec pour débuter son musée de la torture, pas vraiment romantique (quoi que Mister Grey aurait adoré) mais de quoi halluciner sur ce qu&rsquo;on peut imaginer les bourreaux. Nous avons prolongé cette pause en déjeuner dans un très bon restaurant local.</p>

<h2>Florence Jour 6</h2>
<p>Le vol était un aller/retour Paris/Florence et il fallait rendre la voiture à l&rsquo;aéroport. Nous sommes donc repassé par Florence pour le retour sans arrêt par le centre. Nous sommes allés directement rendre la voiture.<br />
L&rsquo;intérêt de la louer à l&rsquo;aéroport si vous arrivez de là.</p>
<h2>Bilan de ce road-trip de 6 jours en Toscane</h2>
<p>L&rsquo;idéal aurait été un dizaine de jours pour ne pas se presser et prendre le temps d&rsquo;aller par exemple voir des domaines de vin ou encore à une petite heure des chutes voir le superbe Jardin des tarots de Niki Saint Phalle.<br />
Mais ce n&rsquo;est que partie remise pour un prochain roadtrip avec un départ de Rome dans la région de Lazio avec un détour par la Sardaigne.</p>
